HP’s first smartwatch is named MB Chronowig

The MB Chronowig may sound like a funny name but HP’s first smartwatch shows it’s got more style than the Apple Watch itself. Created in collaboration with Gilt Group designer, Michael Bastian, the wearable device is compatible with iPhones from the iPhone 4S up and Androids running Android 4.3 and newer.

There may no longer be iPad minis made

There may no longer be iPad minis made

Following rumours of an iPad Pro tablet in the make, word’s out on the street that Apple’s planning on getting rid of its smaller iPad mini lineup. Sources say that Apple may be looking to rework its tablet strategy since the units’ take-up has not been as promising as the rest of its tablets.

For all those of you that think the Xbox One is one fat unit, we’ve got some good news for you – Microsoft might be downsizing the unit to out a slimmer and sexier version soon. This also means the device might get a new CPU/APU that has even smaller transistors – 20-nanometer ones that are a good 30 per cent smaller than the current Xbox One’s.

The name Nokia may be gone but now, there’s Newkia

There’s going to be a new smartphone brand in town soon, and it’s called Newkia. Yes, it sounds like Nokia because it’s the dream child of ex-Nokia APAC chief, Fin Thomas Zilliacus, who says the brand will launch within a year, and would target emerging markets within Asia. Keep an eye out for it.
