The Lego BrickHeadz series reminds us of Funko Pop figurines, except way cooler. Because you get the fun of assembling them yourself.
The fresh new series from Lego brings together 12 iconic movie characters from the Marvel, DC, and Disney universes. Starting from 11 March, the characters will be launched weekly according to the movies they belong in.
You get Batman, Robin, Batgirl, and The Joker from the Lego Batman Movie the first week. They will be followed by Belle and Beast from Beauty and the Beast on 18 March. Then you get Captain America, The Hulk, Iron Man, and Black Widow on 25 March before the series concludes with Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Armando Salazar from Pirates of the Caribbean.
Each figure will cost S$19.90 and come with an equally collectible baseplate that states the icon and series number, just in case you need to organise your future collections.
Want to be the first to get the complete set? You can pre-order the entire first series on the Bricks World site on Saturday, 4 March from 8am. Hurry because there will only be 150 sets available until 7.59am on 7 March. If you miss out, don’t fret, you can still get a shot at landing the whole set on 11 March at the Bricks World store at Ngee Ann City.
One more thing, the first 500 sets will come with an exclusive BrickHeadz Gallery that’s not for sale. Talk about collector’s item. Should you want to up its value, the man responsible for its design, Marcos Bessa, will be holding a meet and greet session at Wisma Atria’s atrium to autograph your set. Mark your calendar for 11.30am, 11 March for some geeky chat.
Consider us obsessed. We can't wait to see what else Lego has in store for the BrickHeadz series. This is only the beginning.
