Ever wanted a Bentley but don’t think it’s worth forking out that much cash on a car? Well, perhaps a Vertu for Bentley smartphone might do the trick for you, because it brings the same luxury you get in a Bentley on a smartphone.
The Vertu for Bentley marks the beginning of a five-year partnership between the companies, meaning there will be more of such high-end smartphone models coming in the coming months/years.
And it’s more exclusive than Vertu’s Signature Touch smartphone. Why? Because the mobile device is decked out in quilted calf leather in a diamond pattern, so you can expect it to feel plush to touch.
It comes in the Bentley classic Newmarket Tan shade, along with its logo sitting at the bottom of the device’s display. Then there’s the Vertu concierge services and exclusive Bentley content such as exclusive articles and driving routes added on to sweeten the deal.
Now on to the boring techincal stuff - it includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC, 4.7in 1080p display covered by sapphire crystal, a 13MP camera with dual-LED flash, as well as 64GB of built-in memory.
In addition, it’s also got stereo speakers, a full connectivity suite including LTE and Qi wireless charging, and it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. All things considered, you can't complain about not getting the full package with this Vertu and Bently collaboration.
If you want one, you’ve got to be quick – there are only 2000 pieces on sale at the company’s boutique stores this month. As for pricing, be prepared to fork out at least €12,500 (S$20,209) for it – because that’s the price you pay for luxury isn’t it?
