Now that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones and the Apple Watch have made their debut, you'd think the Apple rumour mill is running a bit dry in terms of leaks. Apparently not, because according to AppleInsider, the tech giant’s already working on another major product unveil – its next iPad.
And if you believe what The Daily Dot has to say, Tim Cook’s going to take to the stage again on 21 October to present the next version of its iPad.
If this is true, there will be some truth to the speculation of a media event in October (which was previously thought to be that of the iPhone 6). And that’s what Apple's done in the past – last year, it outed its iPad mini with Retina display and iPad Air in October.

So what can we expect from the Apple iPad this time around? Since it was previously all about the mini we think it’s going to be all about the mega (you should have already guessed this by now considering the i-maker’s recently unveiled two larger iPhones, as compared to its predecessors).
Bloomberg claims there will be a new iPad and iPad mini for you to pick up by the end of this year, along with a larger 12.9in iPad that will be available early next year. Other sources also indicate that the models will boast a faster A8 processor, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, and anti-reflective displays.
Besides the new iPad range, it’s projected that Apple will confirm the details and availability of its OS X Yosemite, which it first inaugurated in June at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference. Stay tuned, we’ll fill you in with more leaks as they come.
