Holding out hope that Daniel Craig’s aggressive take on James Bond will last for even more movies past next month’s Spectre? Don’t. Craig has waffled on the subject in the past, noting that he wouldn’t mind pursuing other things, but now he tells TimeOut London that he’d “rather break this glass and slash my wrists,” when asked.

“No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on,” he said, adding that if he did it again, “It would only be for the money.” And if he does bow out, who does he think should replace him in the role? He apparently doesn’t “give a f— who plays Bond next.”

No explicit Instagram planned

On Tuesday, Instagram co-founder and CEO Kevin Systrom said there “have been discussions” about making a version of Instagram that allows explicit content. He said it at the Vanity Fair New Establishment Summit, adding, “The question becomes, who decides what’s R-rated?”

Despite his pretty clear comments, an Instagram representative confirmed yesterday that no adult-oriented version of the site and app is actually planned, and that his comments were apparently taken out of context. Nudity has been a tricky subject for Instagram, with celebrities and other public figures arguing for freedom from content restrictions, but it sounds like a two-tier system isn’t the way to solve those complaints.

No Apple Pay for Barclays this year

Been looking forward to using your Barclaycard with Apple Pay? Well, the UK bank has been a prominent holdout since the service launched here in July, and it’ll be a bit longer before support goes live.

Ashok Vaswani, CEO of personal and corporate banking at Barclays, said in an email to a customer that, “We have signed up for Apple Pay and will launch it very early in the New Year. We truly value your custom and hope that you continue to bank with us particularly since we are launching this shortly.” The good news is that it’s still coming, but the bad news is that it won’t be right away.

Street Fighter V beta soon to return

When the Street Fighter V beta test went live in July… well, it went down shortly after thanks to bugs. But that’s what a beta test is for, and Capcom quietly put it live again in late August. And now it will return again later this month for the second wave of the test, which now includes both PlayStation 4 and PC players.

It’ll run from 22-25 October, with cross-platform play enabled and six playable characters: Ken, Necalli, Vega, R. Mika, Rashid, and Karin, with the last two of those activated during later days of the test. The beta test will be available worldwide, and if you were in the first test, you’ll automatically have access to the second one.
