What’s a detachable wireless music system that has a double-sided interface for two different listening experiences? If you’re having trouble guessing, we’ll break it to you – it’s the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound Moment.
This new intelligent and intuitive wireless music system was most recently shown off at the CES 2015 trade show, currently being held in Las Vegas. The unit integrates your limitless music collection and services into one, making it one that every member of the family can use to collect, discover, and share content.
On one side of the unit is an aluminum interface with a touch-screen so you can browse the endless online music catalogue, your saved playlists and even share your music collection. On the other end is a touch-sensitive wood interface that plays your favourite tunes with just a touch of the wooden wheel (Bang & Olufsen claims this is a world first).
Not only is it a sight to behold, the BeoSound Moment is intelligent too. It has a PatternPlay feature installed within that suggests to you music and radio programmes during specific times in a day or the week based on your listening patterns.
Not forgetting to mention its MoodWheel function that creates a random playlist for you depending on where in the colour wheel you place your finger – the closer you place your finger to the center, the more likely the songs will be your favourites. Also, if you pick the red zone, the tunes tend to be more passionate as compared to say, the yellow area, which plays more energetic music.
If this audio device tickles your fancy, you’ll be able to get your hands on it from the end of February, exclusively at the Bang & Olufsen Grand Hyatt showroom. Just be prepared to be set back S$4000. But on the plus side, it includes a 12 month prepaid subscription to Deezer Premium+.
