Slim and sexy. Nope, we're not talking about svelte figured women. It's the new Asus Zenbook NX500 fits the bill with its skinny frame and Ultrabook name.
The Taiwanese firm isn't a stranger to ultra thin notebooks. The biggest selling point for the 15.6in ultra thin Zenbook NX500 is its 4K/UHD display with VisualMaster technology. That means you’ll get an even higher pixel density display. That same high-resolution display is also IPS touch screen display that enables up to 10 points of multi-touch, a full-HD front-facing web camera, as well as support for Wireless-AC.
The laptop is powered by an Intel quad-core 2.2GHz Core i7-4702 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M graphics processor, as well as 2GB of GDDR5 video memory. Say goodbye to your social life if you intend to use it for on-the-go gaming, the souped-up specs will suck you right in.
Its insides are encased in a 19mm thin frame made of a striking aluminium framework, making its weight come up to just 2.4kg.
Since the Asus Zenbook NX500 is all about viewing pleasure, it’s also got an audio system to match it for a full entertainment or even a cinematic experience. Its SonicMaster audio technology incorporates ICEpower and Bang & Olufsen technology, making it a strong contender for gaming too.
Speaking of gaming, Asus has also unveiled three new gaming notebooks – the ROG G751, G771, and G551 in Singapore but has yet to disclose their availability or pricing.
Neither were these details available for the Asus Zenbook NX500, but we’ll update this space with more information once we get it.
