Asus is giving budget smartphone vendors like Xiaomi a run for their money with its budget ZenFone 6 smartphone. Which, incidentally, will be available in Singapore from tomorrow.
At S$329, the ZenFone 6 is a steal when you consider its hardware offering, which includes a 6in HD screen, exclusive GloveTouch technology, Asus SonicMaster audio technology, Intel Atom Z2580 processor, and a 13MP rear camera with its PixelMaster technology.
Also, it runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.3 with Asus ZenUI, which can soon be upgraded to Android 4.4 KitKat.

What sets it apart from the rest
As if it isn't cheap enough, you can get the ZenFone 6 at a subsidised price from M1, SingTel and StarHub once you sign a two-year contract. Or, you can do it from the comforts of your home by visiting its recently inaugurated online store, where you can purchase the Android device for a special price of S$299, complete with a flip cover and 24-hours delivery service (for a limited time only).
You also have a choice between three colour options – Charcoal Black, Pearl White and Cherry Red.
