Apple Watch selling in selected high-end boutiques

Looks like Apple is taking its high-end watch ambitions seriously

A number of high-end fashion boutiques will be offering the Apple Watch up for sale. For the curious, the outlets are Dover Street Market in Tokyo and London, Maxfield in Los Angeles, Colette in Paris, The Corner in Berlin, and 10 Corso Como in Milan.

Catering to the haves, not the have-nots

If you were thinking of dropping by if you were near those stores for any reason, don't expect much as stocks apparently are limited.  But all these stores have been displaying their Apple Watch branding prominently in windows. Why were these shops chosen? Because they are deemed “retail trendsetters” by Apple.

Although we may have the problem of not knowing if supply meets demand, Dover Market Street made a smart move by sharing some details on the number and types of watches available in their stores. The store in Tokyo will carry 350 and London will carry 570 but neither of them will be able to offer the Apple Watch Edition, which is really backlogged.

So Apple Fanboys rejoice for the wait is going to be over soon and if you preordered, expect the first shipment to arrive on your doorstep by the 24th of April.
