If you’re feeling the Star Wars giddies (even though Rogue One is still light years away), here’s something to tide you through the anticipation.
Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways (ANA) has revealed the newest design in their Star Wars themed fleet of planes and it’s all about everyone’s favourite gentlerobot, C-3PO. The robot’s detailed body parts and wiring motif will feature prominently on the livery of ANA’s Boeing 777-200, and will start flying on domestic routes in Japan from the end of March 2017.
The iconic droid is the fourth addition to ANA’s lineup of Star Wars jets (currently the only airlines in the world featuring Star Wars livery), and joins pals R2-D2 and BB-8 to explore the cosmos in search of the Force. Okay, they’re pretty much all just commercial planes with awesome fuselages, but we can dream.
Aside from that cool exterior, the golden rod of the skies will also include C-3PO themed seat covers and custom themed disposable cutlery – prime for the looting if you ask us.
As if we needed any more reasons to plan that Japan vacation eh?
