Aftershock first to retail PCs with Intel's 6th Gen Core processors in Singapore

And you can buy them this week at Comex

Local gaming PC makers Aftershock PC has come a long way in just three years.

After all, you don't usually get to be one of the first computer companies in the world to have Intel's latest and greatest Core processors powering your machines, much less bring it to retail ahead of larger, more established brands. This reflects Intel's willingness to work with local manufacturers, regardless of their size.

The new 6th Gen Intel Core processors - also known as Skylake - are claimed to be Intel's best ever, and you'll be able to get Aftershock PC's new Skylake-equipped lineup starting this week at Comex from 3-6 September.

Intel intelligence

Skylake processors don't just have cool sounding name - they're cool in the literal sense too, letting you run at max performance longer without having to throttle back in order to prevent overheating. Aftershock PC even says that in their engineering tests, the difference in max temperatures reached could be more than 10 degrees celcius when compared to older Intel processors.

Other direct benefits include huge boosts in all-round stats, including up to 60% more computing power, 20-45% faster system responsiveness, 60% less power consumption, and 40% better graphics performance. That's on top of practical applications for increased security, greater wireless connectivity for displays and docking, as well as ultra-quick Thunderbolt 3.

Intel has also scaled Skylake to be compatible with a wider range of form factors from tiny compute sticks to all-in-one desktop PCs and gaming systems in order to bring these benefits to more consumers. Windows 10 users will also be glad to know that a partnership with Microsoft has led to more powerful user login and Cortana capabilities.

In a nutshell: Skylake processors are better in every way, and more devices equipped with it are soon incoming.

Here comes the pain

Gaming laptops are some of the highest-specced computers in the world, because gamers just love to eke out even the slightest advantage over the competition.

The good news is, Aftershock's new PCs will have you covered thanks to the aforementioned benefits of having Skylake. But here's the bad part: once you get one, there'll be no more excuse for your lack of skill (except maybe lag).

Besides these power-packed processors, Aftershock PC's has integrated Nvidia's latest graphics cards with support for G-Sync display technology, solid state drives, gorgeous full HD displays, and Wireless AC into their rigs' impressive arsenals.

The ones you'll be able to get at Comex are:
