Tour the House of Guvera with us

Music-streaming service Guvera calls this painfully hip space home in downtown Los Angeles

To mark music-streaming service Guvera’s launch on the West Coast, we were treated to an acoustic Jessie J set at the House of Guvera.

The behemoth space in the arts district of downtown Los Angeles used to be a bank until Guvera took over. They painted it black, overhauled the acoustics and called it home. Home to good music and upcoming exclusive Guvera events, that is.

Marked by a neon sign, the indoor space plays host to intimate sets, while the massive outdoor space can hold up to 1200 music fans for one of a kind brand collaborations.

Follow us as we take you on a photo tour of the understatedly cool grounds of the House of Guvera.

If what we saw was indication of Guvera’s plans for the future, Los Angeles is in for a treat. There were food trucks, cocktails from all around the world, and rebellious graffiti from before.

But here’s the highlight of the night - Jessie J’s amazing acoustic set courtesy of Guvera.

Don’t despair though. Guvera is setting up homes in Australia and India, and we hear that Southeast Asia could be home to a House of Guvera sometime soon. Follow them on Facebook to get the latest goss, or leave a plea for them to set up shop in our region.
