Do you want to buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 4? Yes, we see you nodding your head vigorously.
The first step, however, is to actually get your hands on the phablet. And this is Singapore - you aren’t the only person ready to pounce on the opportunity to get that new smartphone. For actual use or reselling purposes, it doesn’t matter to us. What matters, is getting one for you.
No, we aren’t going to give you a free Galaxy Note 4, but this is the next best thing - a quick guide to getting Samsung’s fourth phablet in its Galaxy Note series.

Your friendly neighbourhood SingTel, StarHub or M1 stores
Without contract, the Galaxy Note 4 costs S$1088. Not exactly the kind of spare change you can whip out (unless you’ve just struck 4D) to pay for the Android smartphone.
So your best option is to sign a two-year contract with SingTel, StarHub or M1 and get the phone at a subsidised price. And because we're friendly, we'll point you in the right direction:
Take our advice - go for a plan with at least 2GB of data. This puts the Galaxy Note 4’s price at S$608 with SingTel. StarHub customers will be looking at a slightly more expensive phone at S$648, though you get 3GB of data instead of 2GB for similar plans from SingTel or M1 that cost around S$43 or S$41 per month respectively.

When can you touch your precious phablet?
The telcos and Samsung Experience Stores will issue pre-ordered sets from 10 October. That's a day earlier for the impatient few (or perhaps many) who want their new phablet. But it’s okay even if you’ve made a late decision to get the Galaxy Note 4 - the units will be on sale from 11 October.
All done? Good, now sing a farewell song to your piggy bank before you smash it.
