Stuff Picks: Ride the city with an i-MAX Q5 electric scooter

Plus a bunch of other cool toys for grown ups

i-MAX Q5 Electric Scooter (S$1099)

Why pedal when you can ride in comfort with i-MAX’s latest PEV? The Q5’s 8in pneumatic air tires plus front and rear suspension absorbs shock from bumpy paths, while its powerful 36V/8.7Ah system drives the 350W brushless motor up slopes with ease, and gives you the torque acceleration needed to conquer any urban terrain.

The display allows you to check trip time, BPM and torque, and it also controls an LCD rear light which flashes upon braking. Though it has a pure metal finished base, this scooter weighs only 13 kg, making it perfect for running errands or cruising the city — within the speed limit of course.
