Stuff Picks: NVIDIA’s ultimate video card will transform your PC gaming experience

And Canon’s 800D just might be the entry level DSLR we’ve been looking for

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition (from S$990)

What a time to be alive, and a PC gamer. Nvidia launched their latest flagship gaming GPU which has been crowned the fastest in the world by many.

It features the same GP102 processor and 11GB of GDDR5X that you will find on NVIDIA’s Titan X, just that it won’t set you back two grand. Rest assured that 4K gaming will run at a buttery 60 frames per second.

Oh, and VR gaming? The GTX 1080 Ti is the first 4K VR-Ready GPU and runs 35% faster than the typical GTX 1080. So yes, you will have trouble sleeping after playing Resident Evil 7 on VR with this GPU.

It's available here and at your nearest PC retail shops.

Garmin fēnix® 5 series (from S$899)

With its sharp design, it's no wonder Garmin’s latest smartwatch can be easily mistaken for a luxury timepiece. But this wearable isn’t just a looker.

Under the hood, it has a battery life of up to 12 days and 20 hours of continuous intensive GPS tracking, tracking for running, swimming, and biking, Wi-Fi and a heart rate monitor for starters.

It’s built for the fitness freaks, just like the fēnix Chronos is, but at a more affordable price point.

This series of smarwatches come in different sizes: from as small as 42mm for the fēnix 5S to as big as 51mm for the fēnix 5X.

Valentine’s Day might be over but it’s a solid gift to get for you and your significant other if your idea of date night is two solid hours at the gym.

Pre-orders are available at the IT Show 2017 (16 to 19 March).

The first 50 pre-orders for the Garmin Fenix 5S and Fenix 5 will get a free QuickFit silicone band (worth S$109).
