8 tips to get the most out of your Samsung smartphone

You’ve been missing out on the full potential of your Galaxy device… until now

We’re sure your Samsung Galaxy smartphone has been serving you perfectly well, whether you’ve been using a Galaxy S4/5, Note 3/4/Edge, or even of the new A series phones.

However, chances are you haven’t tried using these eight Samsung-exclusive apps, meaning you’ve missed out on enjoying a load of benefits that make your life easier and better.

The good news is, it isn’t too late – here’s what your Galaxy device can really do (many of these will work on your Galaxy Tab as well).

It’ll save you money

The ultimate loyalty rewards app for Samsung users, Samsung Galaxy Life makes things easier on your wallet by offering exclusive deals and promotions at several participating outlets islandwide, no strings attached.

This comes in the form of perks like discounts, one-for-one vouchers, and outright free giveaways that you can claim inside the app. It’ll even alert you when there’s something to be claimed near your current location. If you need proof, Samsung Malaysia famously gave away free Starbucks Frappuccinos in May 2014, which is something we’d definitely look forward to here.

That’s not all though – the app also has a news ticker for Samsung to share exclusive content with you. That includes anything from app recommendations to tips and tricks for your Samsung device.

Download Samsung Galaxy Life from the Google Play store (you'll only be able to see it if you're using a Samsung device), or search for it in the Galaxy Apps application on your device.

It’ll save content across all your devices

Transferring content between your phone, tablet or PC can be a bit of a hassle, and “ain’t nobody got time for that”. Samsung Link makes it much easier by consolidating all your photos, videos, and documents to a Samsung account for easy access wherever you are, and it’ll even work on your Samsung Smart TV.

That means anything saved on one device will then be able to be accessed or played on the other, as long as you have a data connection. The app can also back everything up to a cloud storage service – namely Box, Dropbox, or OneDrive – that lets you free up space if necessary, and offer even more versatility on where you can access your stuff.

Download Samsung Link from the Google Play store (you'll only be able to see it if you're using a Samsung device), or search for it in the Galaxy Apps application on your device.
