It may have got a three in our Apple event rumour probability meter, but it's just got notched up a few places with news that Yoko Ono herself has confirmed the Fab Four are coming to iTunes.

In a now pulled Sky News article, Ono apparently confirmed the Beatles would be coming to iTunes, but what's not clear is if she said it would be announced at today's event or not.

What we do know is that a Sky News employee told 9to5Mac they were given orders "from the very top" to remove the story without comment, but of course, the evidence of its existence cannot hide from Google Cache.

To round up the will-they-won't-they rumours, EMI has told The Financial Times that while conversations for the Fab Four's back catalogue to hit iTunes are going on, there will be no announcement of that today.

We'll be at the Apple event today reporting on the announcements as they happen, so keep it locked to Stuff.tv for the latest, and let us know what you think below.
