We first had a spin round Yahoo!'s widget based mobile app, Go 2.0, back in March. Now it returns with a UK beta version ready to land this Friday.Consigning WAP to the dim and distant past with one flash of its Web 2.0 style menu, Go left us mightily impressed first time round. Now that its ditched its jelly doughnuts and coffee bias for UK centric tea and crumpets we're hastily clearing a Yahoo! shaped space on our mobiles in anticipation. From the preview on the Go microsite it looks like it's nailed UK map searches with satellite images and a Google Maps style business search. The Flickr browser and uploader also seems to have had some tweaking, making it easier to browse and see mates' pics.News feeds and search results from the intelligent oneSearch box should also have a suitably British accent to save wading through a bunch of US results. And there's access to UK Yahoo! Mail accounts complete with support for viewing attachments. You can bag the free download from Friday using the link below, or find it pre-loaded on a bunch of Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, LG and HTC handsets later this year.Essentials Yahoo!
