Set your alarm clocks for ‘mid November’ (sorry, can’t be any more precise) ‘cos that’s when the first hi-def movie format is going to go mainstream. Why? Because Microsoft will finally be shipping its HD DVD add-on for the Xbox 360. At last, affordable 1080p output is coming to our eager HD-ready screens.For a limited time only, Bill Gates is also going to chuck in a free HD DVD copy of King Kong (yes, the new one).
