Sick of loads of sucky games clogging up Xbox Live Arcade? Well, so is Microsoft. Which is why they’re throwing all titles on the service that received less than 65 per cent on MetaCritic overboard.

According to the gaming fanatics at Next_gen.biz the move is all about streamlining the service. Games that have been out for more than six months are also likely to be thrown in the virtual trashcan.

The Big M will give three months notice before games are delisted. It’s difficult not to see this as anything other than a reaction to the recent launch of Nintendo’s online rival, WiiWare.
