The ground-breaking SCH-B600 is no less than 6mm thinner and 10g lighter than Samsung’s previous benchmark mobile snapper, the 7MP V770.This is no all-out resolution lash-up, either, since Samsung has thoughtfully included a useable 3x optical zoom, alongside the 5x digital version, auto focus and a flash unit. The big screenA neat touch is the Samsung’s TV-Out connection, allowing plucky owners to show off their snaps or use the built in satellite DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) function to hook up a hulking 430in plasma screen, should one become available in the near future. So, it’s here and it costs 900,000 Korean Won (roughly £500). But when will we get it over here? Well, it’s unlikely to see the light of day in the UK in its current guise but we’ll be sure to enlighten you as soon as we hear about European launch dates for our very own 10MP camphone. Stay tuned.
