Okay, okay – we’ll stop singing. But we’re excited by a morsel of news from the MWC show floor: Flash is coming to Android in the first half of 2010.

That means you’ll be able to play online games and watch streaming videos on your mobile, without any fiddly apps getting in the way.

Adobe’s AIR environment for Google’s OS is available now, and the company is promising Flash Player 10.1 on the same platform by July, with support for WebOS, Symbian, WinMo and BlackBerry, too.

You might remember there was a bit of grumbling (okay, quite a lot) about Apple’s forthcoming iPad not having Flash. Well, it doesn’t look like that’s going to change from this announcement.

By bringing Flash to every other major smartphone OS, Adobe will hope to force Apple’s hand and get it to let the ubiquitous player on to the iPhone and iPad OS.

We wonder what die-hard Apple fans make of this? Will lack of Flash vids and games be enough to get you to ditch your beloved handset? Or will you stay true to the Apple camp even when the rest of the world scoffs at your primitive ways?

Throw your stones in the comments.
