Little Wii can put away its top hat and tails. Despite an Opera date penned in for the 30th March, it looks like the launch of the full Opera-powered Internet Channel has been put back to 'some point' in April.Up 'til now we've been making do with the free trial version, which offers basic browsing functionality and a few of the tricks we expect to see in the final version.Top of most people's wishlists for the new release is an address bar, a history tool and an option to hide the tonking great nav bar at the bottom of the screen (pictured). From noises we're hearing in the Opera camp, though, it looks like we could be getting more than just a few basic tweaks.The word from the multi-platform web guru is that it's working hard with Ninty to meet the (many) user requests and to create the 'ultimate web surfing experience on the Wii console'. Let's hope it's worth the wait when the curtain does finally go up next month.
