The new partnership is good news for HTC, after Vodafone kicked it from its main line up in December. It now only offers it to its business customers.
In case you've forgotten, the HD2 was the Windows Mobile handset that turned our heads last year, with its 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch screen, 5 megapixel camera and HTC Sense skin.
Speaking of the new addition to its portfolio Jonathan Kini, director of mobile at Virgin Media said: "The HTC HD2 is a stunning handset and the first-ever HTC-branded phone ranged by Virgin Media.
"Its launch kick starts a new range of high-end handsets coming to Virgin Media, perfect for mobile internet, social networking and entertainment on the go".
You’ll be able to pick up the phone for free on a £30, 2-year contract which will include 800 minutes, unlimited text and “unlimited” data (capped to 3GB a month).
However, if you’re already a Virgin Media customer with TV or broadband, you’ll get two months for free, and unlimited calls to other Virgin Mobiles as an added bonus. Nice.
