ViewSonic ViewPad 7x and 10pro tablets enter the ring

ViewSonic throws it's tablets on the table at IFA

ViewSonic is adding its wares to the plethora of tablets on show at IFA this year. First up is the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x – a 7in tablet loaded with Android 3.2 Honeycomb and a NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual core processor running the show. Inside there's 8GB of storage and cameras front and back, along with GPS Tuner software for handy offline map storage. ViewSonic's own ViewScene 3D interface makes an appearance too. It's available later this month for €349 (around £315).

Alongside its little brother appears the ViewPad 10 pro, which we've glimpsed before. This 10in tab runs two operating systems, switching between Windows 7 Professional and Android 2.3. It will be available 5th September for €499 (around £450) for the Wi-Fi only version.
