As predicted by gadget meteorologists, it's been raining compact cameras this week. We've seen new faces from Fujifilm, Olympus and Nikon – but by far the most intriguing are these retro beauties from Pentax.
The I10 (above left) and H90 (right) have divided opinion in the Stuff office – some prefer the SLR looks of the 12MP I10, while others are sold on the clean lines and two-tone colours of the H90. Whatever your preference, both are certainly iconic.
Beneath the H90's tasty exterior are some pretty solid specs – it packs 5x optical zoom, 720p HD video recording and a 2.7in screen.
It's also compatible with Eye-Fi SD cards, which throws up the possibility of wirelessly sending your photos to the web. You'll be able to pick one up for a very reasonable £130 from March.
If sir would prefer something a little more eccentric, the I-10 could fit the bill. It shares much of the same specs as the H90 (12MP sensor, 5x optical zoom, 720p video recording) and sports a 28mm wide-angle lens, which is handy for group shots. You'll be able to snap one up later this month for £200.
