The new take on the classic hub comes direct from Firebox and costs a measly £40. For that you get the console, two controllers and 15 on–board games including Columns, Decap Attack and Sonic and Knuckles. Ok, not the hottest line up, but the presence of a cartridge slot means you can revive old titles you shoved in the loft years ago. James Pond 2: Robocod anyone?
As you might expect, the controllers are a tad plasticky, and add an extra three buttons to the original design. Still, that's a minor gripe for a gadget that will help you relive those halcyon days of taking on all comers at Fifa 95.
