We were the lucky recipients of a box from Archos this morning, but it was a little larger than we've come to expect from the French PMP nutters. That's because it contained its new 10.2in netbook, the Archos 10.
If you're thinking this netbook doesn't look much like a shiny Archos, that's because it isn't really – it's a re-badged model from fellow tricolours Hasse.
This means the styling is a slightly uninspired matt black, and the spec is similarly 'standard' – 160GB hard-drive, 1GB RAM, Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor (the same as the one that powers most of Asus' Eee PCs) and Windows XP on board.
Although Skype is pre-loaded, you will have to – in true Archos style – pay for many of extras, including video on-demand from the Archos Media Club. The Archos 10 is yours for £350, but we'd wait for our full review – and the significantly more alluring Asus Eee PC 1008HA.
