UK Nokia Lumia 900 may be delayed

But we can wait a couple more weeks if Nokia’s Windows Phone superphone comes in hot pink livery

If you’re itching to get your fingers all over the 4.3in touchscreen of Nokia’s Lumia 900, but you’ve forgotten to live in the States, we have sad news – the handset’s UK launch may be delayed.

That’s according to V3, which says the handset is likely to be coming to UK shores over two weeks later than originally expected owing to high demand for the phone in the US.

The Lumia 900 is now expected to go on sale on May 14 at Phones 4u, with Carphone Warehouse also expected to stock the handset.

On a brighter note, E’s Phoneblog has uncovered a magenta (that’s hot pink to you) Nokia Lumia 900 (pictured above), which it says is also arriving in May. And for a pink smartphone, we might just – just – be able hold out for an extra couple of weeks.
