We fell in love with Toshiba’s gorgeous XF tellies back at IFA in August 2007 but they were sadly lacking in a few essential top-end features.

To recapture our hearts Tosh has combined the sexy looks of the XF with the tremendous tech packed into the Z series and come up with the ZF (pictured).

That means it keeps the super-slim 23mm bezel but now boasts Active Vision M100HD 100Hz Picture Processing, 24fps compatibility (with 5:5 pull down) and three HDMI inputs. It’s due to hit the high street in April in 40, 46 and 52in screen sizes.

That’s not all Tosh has in its cupboards for us though; its new CV series comes in 32, 37 and 42in models with a new gloss black design and dedicated Game Mode to up response times and prevent you getting fragged by that n00b.

Finally, there’s the XV series; a range of 1080p Full HD tellies that starts at just 32in and features three HDMI ports, Active Vision processing and the same Game Mode as the CV sets.

We’ll have them down in our test lab before you can say, ‘what time’s University Challenge on?’
