Treo, Tre-ee-ee-o, I want a Treo and I want one now. Not one, not two but three chocolatey biscuits - sorry, Palm Treos - are on the way. And while we'd like them now, you'll have to wait 'til next year to see 'em.
We already know of the Windows Mobile-powered 700w – above – but Palm's CEO has now confirmed there'll be another three smart phones to dream about over Christmas. And the good news for fans of the leaf-inspired operating system is that at least one will run Palm's new Garnet OS.
Details are sketchy at the moment but it looks like we're set for a new look design and enhanced networking, which could mean 3G, Wi-Fi – or both. Palm's also pledged to offer a budget model among the three.
The company's been cuddling up to the UK mobile networks of late, so expect at least one to be tied to an individual network such as Orange. Rumours are that the other two will be the much talked about 'Lowrider' and 'Hollywood' models. That last one sounds like a strong video contender to us, so look for fancy media player features and possibly 3G video calling.
More's expected in the New Year – we'll keep you posted.
