Woah! Just days after the Merc inspired VOIP car-mouse screeched to a tyre smoking halt by our keyboard along comes another pimped out pointer with Internet phone credentials.Unlike the Street Mouse this one can actually be held to the ear. Posing as a bog standard clicker it sits quiet as a, er, mouse until it’s flipped open to reveal… a slightly-naff VOIP handset. InnardsHalf expecting to find sugary confection inside, we were pleasantly surprised to see the toy-like design does actually house some technological treats. There’s a Skype-friendly caller-ID display for the phone and 800dpi optical sensor for the mouse.Of course there is the obvious quandary of what happens to your cursor when you pick up the phone. Sensing this dilemma the makers have included a loud speaker so you can waggle your pointer and have a chin wag at the same time. All this and it occupies just one measly USB port.
