Greetings clamshell fans and haven't we a treat in store for you today. Samsung has shoehorned speedy 3.5G internet into its latest fold phone offering. The T-Mobile exclusive offers a blisteringly fast 1.8Mbps without the need for a separate data card or pocket bulging PDA phone combo. In a fit of generosity the pink network's also offering the phone with its web'n'walk services. A paltry £7.50 a month on top of your usual tariff bags unlimited mobile internet browsing. Cough up another fiver and you can extend that to unlimited broadband speed browsing on a laptop.Craftily, VoIP calls are blocked unless you pay another £10 a month (that's £22.50 a month total) to unlock the relevant pipes but otherwise it’s a fairly stonking deal - if you're in 3.5G coverage that is, otherwise it'll revert back to 3G or painstakingly slow GPRS.Elsewhere the handset packs a 2megapixel camera and MP3 player plus all the usual video calling accoutrements. Thankfully, a MicroSD card slot backs up a stingy 30MB of on-board memory.Certainly beats lugging round a separate modem card.
