This week on the Stuff.tv vidcast we want to take you on a journey. But before you start packing up your travel sweets and mini Scrabble, hear this – you can make our journey from the comfort of your computer and all you'll need is a willingness to save the planet.

Yes, that's right, because this is an eco-friendly journey, through the best new green methods of transport.

Resident petrolhead, Tom Wiggins, drains his fuel tank, replaces it with an electric motor and takes in a whole host of four-wheeled wonders, including the Smart Ed, Nissan's £500,000 hydrogen-powered X-Trail and the brand new Lightning electric supercar.

Meanwhile, Ruth Owen swaps four wheels for two and gets all Italiano on us with the cosmopolitan choice, the Ego Electric Street Scoota. No road tax, no congestion charge, no parking fines, no problemo!

If you prefer pedals to 'peds then watch Ruth ride into the sunset at great speed on her Kalkhoff Pro Connect electric bike. If only they'd let her enter the Tour De France...

To catch our eco-friendly adventure just take a left at the wind farm and skip on over to our video page. And don't let us find any carbon footprints on the carpet or we'll tell your Mum.
