Grand Theft Auto V for PC spotted online

Good news for owners of 1337 gaming rigs – it looks like a PC version of Grand Theft Auto V is on the way, with a listing for the game appearing on several German retail sites, including latest trailers for GTA V to whet your appetites – not that you haven't seen them a million times already.

Star Trek Enterprise boldly goes into space

A devout Star Trek fan has sent a model of J.J. Abrams' Starship Enterprise into space, attached to a weather balloon, while recording it with a GoPro camera. With the ship boldly going to a height of 95,568ft, Office Cat can only hope that the miniature crew made it back to Earth in one piece.

Facebook posts complaining about changes to Facebook will now be interspersed with video ads, as the social networking site seeks ever more ways to monetise its News Feed. The first ad in your News Feed will play automatically – albeit mercifully silently – but Office Cat predicts a rage-fuelled backlash over the new addition. As if his News Feed wasn't already convoluted enough with kitten litters and tuna sandwiches as it is...

Windows Blue pricing and availability details coming

Microsoft has confirmed that it will be releasing more details – including pricing and availability information –  for Windows Blue over the coming weeks. Windows Blue (or Windows 8.1 as it'll probably be called) will be tailored to work on smaller form-factor tablets – and will hopefully include the traditional Windows Start button, for those pining for it.
