The Stuff Cool List 2011 is announced next week

Computers will never be able to tell us what "cool" is. That’s why you need Stuff’s Cool List
We are part of The Trust Project What is it?

The most exciting date in the gadget fashionista’s diary draws near as we prepare to announce the Cool List 2011.

For those of you new to the concept, the annual Cool List is a parade of the hottest gadget designs (and more) of the past 12 months. It eschews fancy specs and benchmark test figures in favour of individuality, brilliance and flair. It’s an unabashed outpouring of Stuff’s love of innovation and creativity.

Put any thoughts of chin-stroking awards panels out of your mind and embrace instead the things that have made us throw our arms in the air with joy – gadgets, films, apps, games, cars, bands, concepts and people could all make this year’s Cool List.

Last year Olive’s 4HD gorgeous music server, Hipstamatic’s retro photo app, the Geneva Sound System Model S, Dyson’s bladeless Air Multiplier fan and the Apple iPad thrilled their way into our hearts. What’ll be on the Cool List this year?

You can find out on Tuesday night, 31 May, when we announce the things that made our pulses race. You’ll also find the full Cool List 2011 selection – accompanied by stunning photography – in the July issue of Stuff, out on Wednesday, 1st June.
