Barebones specialist Shuttle has applied its bijou computing tech to constructing us a car PC called the, er, CarPC.We're a little short on specs at the moment but we do know that measures a glove-box friendly 28x23x7cm and is kept cool thanks to its heat radiating fin flake chassis. The processing power's provided by a 1.83GHz T2400 Core Duo with obligatory ICE taken care of by the DVI video out, Intel GMA 950 graphics and 7.1 channel audio. We're thinking a nice head-unit with glide-out touch screen monitor, a GPS unit, and our combined MP3 and DivX collections should compliment it nicely.Shuttle's also making much of the fact it shuts itself down safely when you turn off the ignition. We'll be looking out for some HSDPA, or at least Bluetooth connectivity, and perhaps some judder-immune solid-state memory when it eventually comes out for a cruise with the Stuff crew.
