Spotify for iPhone, iPod Touch and Android handsets has touched down this morning, pleasing many a music fan this Monday morning. As we reported last week, the Spotify app had been approved by Apple and we at Stuff Towers had been waiting on the edge of our little seats since then to see how the smartphone service will fare.
Now, for £10 per month, Spotify Premium subscribers will also be able to squeeze out thousands of streaming tracks to their smartphone, via 3G or WiFi, and also take advantage of the neat buffering feature, meaning that tunes will remain uninterrupted.
And clever little Android handsets will let the app run in the background, meaning that you can crack on with other tasks at the same time as listening to Chas 'n' Dave's Greatest Hits.
Stay tuned for a video as soon as we've loaded itup and given it the full Stuff.tv test treatment...
