Three new reasons to stay indoors and watch more telly. One, the LA1 (pictured), an all-in-one PC and TV with 19-inch wide screen. The others, the XL201 and XL202, which plug into your existing plasma and offer up to half a terabyte of video recording pleasure – roughly enough to store every episode of Coronation Street for the ultimate of ultimate omnibus editions. The Windows Media Center-equipped LA1 manages to conceal a Core 2 Duo processor, 300GB hard drive, gig of RAM and a DVD burner behind a 1680x1050pixel Sony X-black LCD display. A glass surround adds a touch of Sony class, as do the matching wireless keyboard and mouse. For those who want to plug into an existing display, the XL201 follows on from the XL100 series by adding a Core 2 Duo processor and virtually silent operation. An HDMI connector ensures it’ll happily talk with your HD-ready goggle box. The top of the range XL202 brings with it a BD burner for watching Blu-Ray discs and burning hi-def video. And if 50GB per Blu-Ray disc isn’t enough, the 202 also houses that colossal 500GB hard disc.
