Aimed at 'first time digital users' (are there any left?) or just plain cheapskates, Sony's new Cyber-shots are the latest in 'premium' budgetry.Pounding the bottom of the Sony bargain bin are the DSC-S650 and S700. Housed in slightly chunky cases, the 700 swaps the 650's all-plastic body for one with a brushed metal front and boosts the 2in screen to a more luxurious 2.4in.Up the scale and turning their noses up at their own price tags are the surprisingly swish DSC-W35 (pictured) and W55. With supermodel-thin proportions (just 23mm deep) and all-metal bodies they make quite a tasty pair. The W55 shows its extra class with a bigger 2.5in screen and multiple colour options. All four get respectable 7.2MP sensors and 3x optical zoom, plus some of Sony's low light trickery with high 1000 ISO modes, and extra noise reduction on the W models. Just perfect for those drunken party shots – not that we take many of those, of course.
