Dinky cammies always leave our gadget–loving palms sweaty. And now Sony has weighed in on the act with the planet’s tiniest 1080i recorder. And what a little ripper it is.
Clocking in at a mere 32mm wide and 112mm tall and weighing 300g the spanking new HDR TG3E will take care of 110 minutes of almost Full HD footage, or nearly six hours if you record in HDV.
You can stick all your footage straight onto any card up tp 16GB card (you get a 4GB one shoved in the box). It handles 4MP stills, with a 10x Carl Zeiss optical zoom and 5.1 Dolby Digital recording.
It'll even recogniseup to eight faces while you're recording, so out–of–focus group shots will be a thing of the past.
It’s due out in the States next month, and Sony's saying we'll get a slice of the action in May too, with prices due next week.
In the meantime, why not take a peek at our extreme headcam test in this week’s vidcast and sate your film–making appetite.
