Faster, smarter, smaller – these are our mobile phone watchwords and Sony Ericsson's been listening. It's delivered this svelte smarty that despite its diminutive dimensions, punts the beefy P990i out of the way with a carefully aimed judo chop.Ripping off the keyboard flap once and for all and flinging it into mobile history, the 3G-ified P1 has emerged as a serious BlackBerry rival with a Pearl-style QWERTY board and emailing pretensions. Round the back we can't wait to get our hands on the 3.2MP autofocus camera that shows the P990i's 2MP snapper what for. Also sliding out from under the factory doors are two all-metal T610-a-likes and a fashion focussed S500i. The T650 gets the same 3.2MP treatment as the P1 plus some funky metal keys. The non-3G T250 is a more budget affair with all the looks but just a prehistoric VGA cam to its name. They'll be in a phone shop near you by September. While you're waiting, get yourself over to our videos page for a first look at the new BlackBerry Curve.
