While sniffing around Gadget Town last week we picked up on a mystery new phone being readied by Sony Ericsson, and here it is – the W890i (pictured). The gorgeous sliver of a mobile ups the loveliness count – which already measured highly on the W880i – by adding HSDPA for Speedy Gonzalez web browsing, a 3.2MP camera, FM radio and a 2GB card for stuffing with tunes. But that’s not all the mobile masters were prepping. Those of you on a slightly skinnier budget might be more taken by the W380i clamshell, which comes sporting external music controls and gesture recognition that lets you mute tunes, snooze the alarm or reject a call with the wave of your grubby paw.Rounding off the new trio is the web-obsessed K660i. If you dream in HTML and check your Facebook every 3 minutes, this is the one for you. HSDPA should keep things running quicker than a greased weasel while landscape browsing, Google Maps for Mobile and light-up shortcut keys make it a proper web weapon. All three will be hitting the mean streets soon after New Year but keep your eyes on Stuff.tv for hands-on video soon.Essentials Sony Ericsson W890i, W380i, K660i Price: £tba On sale: Q1 2008 Contact: Sony Ericsson Related stories: Google phase two: world mobile domination New Sony Ericsson phone exposed Stuff exposes new BlackBerry Pearl 8120
