Jalou is a clamshell phone packed into a mini frame just 73mm long, with a 3.2 megapixel camera, video recording, music player and FM radio, as well as 3G and Bluetooth connectivity.
If you hadn't guessed, it's aimed at the ladies with extras including a 2-inch screen that transforms into a mirror, a built-in pedometer, and horoscopes that update throughout the year.
As for the D&G edition, you'll get all the above but in an exclusive rose colour with 24-carat gold plating. There's also a satin bag to protect your phone, D&G themes and wallpapers, exclusive pics and video from D&G's Autumn/Winter 2010 fashion show and an RSS feed to the D&G blog. All-in-all, one big D&G love in.
Of course, Dolce & Gabbana aren't strangers to the phone industry, having produced a special edition gold Motorola Razr a few years back. If this and LG's Prada handsets are anything to go by, the special edition Jalou will no doubt be a popular choice for the ladies when it comes out at the end of this year.
