Sony Ericsson Experia Arc HD spotted in the wild

Same sexy slim design with souped-up insides? Yes please…

Fans of Sony Ericsson's Xperia Arc S will be glad to see that the next iteration in the Arc series – the Xperia Arc HD – has been spotted in the wild, sporting an even better 1280x720, 340DPI Bravia display.

The insides reportedly feature an upgraded 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM, which should keep Gingerbread running nice and smoothly. We do, however, expect Ice Cream Sandwich to make an appearance on the Arc HD at some point in the future.

Camera details are unknown, though we wouldn't complain if the same 8MP snapper from the Xperia Arc S made an encore. Design-wise, the Xperia Arc HD appears to have gained a front-matching glowing LED strip on the rear as well as rounder edges on the body itself.

We're looking forward to official release and pricing information from Sony in the next few weeks, so don't send your lists off to Santa just yet.
