Sony Ericsson had their swish launch of the 8MP Cybershot C905 and gaming F305 phones last night and Stuff was there with our greasy paws all over them.

The C905 is a fine looking slider phone, with a similar feel and UI to the K850i but with a whopping 8MP to play with alongside the usual range of camera controls now including face detection. The Karl Zeiss lens and Xenon flash nestles under a slinky brushed metal cover to give it a classy feel.

But alongside its camera prowess, now sits GPS and aGPS for navigation and geotagging your snaps. DLNA WLAN means you can not only browse in your favourite hotspots but hook the phone up to your home network. Browse your PS3 on your phone, view phone snaps on your telly, oh it's a whole wondrous world of connectivity.

There wasn't much that could distract us from the sexy C905 but then we spotted the F305, SE's new gaming phone. It's not quite the PSP phone we'd been hoping for, although the back of it owes a lot to PSP design. As well as having dedicated gaming buttons up top to complement the D-pad in landscape, it also supports motion games.

We spent far too much time reeling in fish with a casting/pulling motion in Bass Fishing and F305's owners can look forward to bowling and horse racing motion games. Hmm, not sure the looks you'll get on the bus whipping your imaginary nag.

We imagine it'll appeal to the youth, especially as it comes preloaded with ten games and has a large pair of bus bothering speakers on the rear.
