Sofa? Check. Pants? Check. Multipack of crisps? Check. Flatscreen TV? Check. Games, music and movies to keep your thumbs, lugs and peepers occupied this weekend? No? Then have a gander at our picks from The Leisure Lab.

Alone in the Dark (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, PC)

Stalking poorly lit corridors with nothing but a flaming torch for comfort isn't high on our list of weekend activities. Unless we're investigating strange disturbances in New York's Central Park in pant-soiling survival horror game Alone In the Dark, of course.

There Will Be Blood (DVD, Blu-ray)

Stunning cinematography and a career-defining turn from Daniel Day Lewis aren't the only things to look out for in There Will Be Blood. An almost show-stealing performance from Paul Dano and that milkshake scene at the climax are equally worth a slice of wedge.

Santogold

Santi White aka Santogold won't be put in a box. You can try but she'll just fight you off with one of her genre-mashing tunes. Mixing dub, electronica and indie she's crafted a unique-sounding pop record of bonkers brilliance.
