Sanyo makes jukebox debut

The phrases 'late to the game' springs to mind with Sanyo's first MP3 jukebox, the HDP-M3000, which has just hit the shops a month into the post-Nano

The phrases 'late to the game' springs to mind with Sanyo's first MP3 jukebox, the HDP-M3000, which has just hit the shops a month into the post-Nano world.

Its 6GB hard drive, 12-hour battery and so-so styling won't be causing any pyrotechnics, but it's best feature is the price – at £100 from Amazon it's £80 less than 4GB Nano. That, in anyone but a fool's terms, is a bargain.

On the right is the flagship of Sanyo's new DAB range, the DC-DAB03. As its doesn't yet have a price we can't speculate as to how bargainous it is, but it there is a forceful 100 watt output from the speakers and a CD player that can read MP3-loaded discs.

Its chrome and black finish will also look potentially smart tucked away in your kitchen cabinet, which we are currently admiring through our all-seeing telescope.
