Stuff.tv’s detective division has earned its bonus for this week – yesterday they found evidence of a new SanDisk MP3 player called the Fuze, and today it’s been made official.
We only tracked down a red 4GB version yesterday, but the Fuze will also be available in 2GB and 8GB flavours and in the array of paint jobs you can see above.
Everything else is as we predicted: there’s a 1.9in display, FM radio, voice recorder and, perhaps the only feature that will worry the iPod Nano, a microSD slot so you can expand the capacity by another 8GB.
Naturally, it supports protected WMA files for use with your Napster account, and the battery life is apparently a monstrous 24-hour battery life. We’ll be the judge of that when it comes in for review soon.
