Take a look at the picture above. Looks like a Samung G800, right? Well this is the brand new specced-up version – the G810. This one’s got newly added Wi-Fi and GPS that’ll let you geo-tag snaps like the new Sony Ericsson C902 does. It also now runs on the Symbian Series 60 operating system; perfect for installing extra apps and really milking all the power out of your mobile.

There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack so you can keep your cans and last but not least, the screen has been stretched out an extra .2 of an inch. Elsewhere it retains the G800’s and 3x-zooming, 5megapixel cam and Xenon flash but loses the auto focus and face detection. HSDPA also remains and there are some pre-installed Google and YouTube apps to make the most of it.

It’s broadly the same in terms of looks, although there’s been a bit of a redesign on the d-pad and call-answering keys. Add the curved bottom and it actually resembles the good old Nokia N80 with a lovely brushed metal finish. Looks like the kind of powerhouse geared to taking on the newly announced Nokia N96. There’s only one thing for it – phone fight!
